We stock a large range of ready made frames in both imperial and metric sizes, and we are able to cut mounts to fit them while you wait.
Not everything needs framing from scratch. If a photograph or a print is a standard size, a ready made frame with a mount cut properly to fit it will look considerably better than the same frame with the picture floating loose in it — and cost a fraction of a bespoke job.
The imperial sizes matter more than people expect: a lot of older prints and photographs are not metric, and a frame that is nearly right is obvious once it is on the wall.

Yes, and usually while you wait. That is the difference between a ready made frame that looks deliberate and one that looks makeshift: the mount is cut to your picture rather than the picture being left to float inside a standard opening. Over 70 board colours to choose from while you are here.
Please do. It is much easier to judge a frame with the actual picture sitting in it, and it costs nothing to try. We would rather you took twenty minutes over it in the shop than got it home and found the proportions were wrong.
Then a bespoke frame is the honest answer, and we will quote for one rather than sell you something that nearly fits. With over 400 mouldings in stock the choice is far wider than anything off the shelf, and the frame is made to your picture rather than the other way round.
